I can’t wait to see her again!
My migraine is gone after my massage! I had a stubborn migraine headache for a week. She listened to my concerns, focused on exactly what I needed, and my migraine is magically gone. I am super picky about massage. My mother is an amazing LMT, but she doesn’t live here. Alice is everything I have been looking for and I can’t wait to see her again.Highly Recommended!
I was in Portland and looking a good massage in SE Portland, and found Alice. Since I have neck pain as a result of my work, I need frequent massage to help take care of my body. And I’m picky when it comes to getting bodywork, I wasn’t looking for a spa massage, I needed deep tissue massage which is hard to find. Most of all, I wanted relief from my neck pain and headache. My headaches are hard to take, but during my massage Alice pinpointed acupressure spots that relieved my pain and discomfort. I was happy to discover that Alice has some of the most intuitive and therapeutic hands I’ve ever experienced. I found her to be exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. She worked on my jaw and neck, quickly relieving a wicked headache and jaw pain. I was totally wowed! Thank you for the amazing work!!! I highly recommend her. Go see her!Pain-free for the first time in decades!
Had the most amazing work done. I am hesitant to call it a massage since what Alice does is not just massage. Alice is a healer and very intuitive. She finds and works through the areas of injury and pain restoring balance in return. She worked through areas of tension and released things that I have grown accustomed to just living with for many years. As a result, I am waking up now after two sessions with Alice feeling good in my body. And most of all, I’m finally pain-free for the first time in decades.Good Faith Estimate
Effective January 1, 2022, laws regulating patient care have been updated to include the “No Surprises” act, which requires providers to give current and potential future clients a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) on the cost of treatment. Below you will find a summary.
Effective January 1, 2022, a provider must furnish a self-pay patient with the notice and GFE prior to all scheduled services or by request if the patient is shopping for care (and not yet at the point of scheduling).
Who qualifies as a self-pay patient?
A provider’s duty to provide notice and a GFE applies to self-pay patients, i.e., an individual who (1) does not have benefits for an item or service under a group health plan, group or individual health insurance coverage offered by a health insurance issuer, federal healthcare program, or a health benefits plan; or (2) chooses not to use his or her coverage benefit for the item or service.
*The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill. You may contact the health care provider or facility listed to let them know the billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate. You can ask them to update the bill to match the Good Faith Estimate, ask to negotiate the bill, or ask if there is financial assistance available. You may also start a dispute process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date on the original bill. There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price on the Good Faith Estimate. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount.
To learn more and get a form to start the process, go to https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call HHS at (800) 368-1019. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019.
