Stop Migraines Naturally

How-to-stop-migraines

There’s really nothing worse than a migraine headache, luckily I’m here to tell you that there are several ways to stop migraines naturally. And anyone who dismisses your pain as “just a headache “, has obviously never had a true migraine. Just the possibility that a migraine is coming on used to send me into a panic.

Migraines are vascular problems, not just a common headache

Over the many years of suffering from migraines, I can now say that I’ve found a way to stop them. Let’s first break it down, what causes migraines? Of course, everyone if different, but taking into account that migraines are usually  a result of your blood vessels going crazy, hydrotherapy is the key for many of us.

Give me some warmth!

Warmth is what our bodies need. Your blood likes to stay warm too. The key is to keep your body from flooding your brain, because that in a nutshell is what causes most migraines . By using a combination of heat and ice packs, migraines can be prevented. Prevention is the place to start. As soon as one begins, it’s essential to stop it’s progress.

And don’t forget the cold!

For some reason cold feels great too when you’re having a migraine. There’s a reason for that, cold will help keep massive amounts of blood from flowing to your brain and as a result, causing a migraine. I use the Elasto Cranial Cap  to keep my whole head and neck cool whenever I feel a migraine coming on. This technique has actually helped me to stop migraines naturally.

Of course, I look rediculous driving to pick the kids up from school, but it’s a small price that I’ll gladly pay to avoid a migraine!
